Twenty-three
8×8″ acrylics and ink on canvas. I tried playing music while I worked, which led to an odd mix of DJ Shadow, Drop Kick Murphys, DJ Z-Trip, finishing off with the Hot Fuzz soundtrack. I don’t know if I work better with music or without; but I do know that the music kind of gets embedded in the painting, and always resonates with those songs.
Adam is 23, and this is his painting.
